Rusty Fred

In suburban Atlanta, there is a barber named Russell Frederick who disciplines children by cutting their hair in a very creative way. He works at A-1 Kutz and he gives haircuts that make someone look older than they are and humiliate them on social media and in their everyday lives.

Take this picture for example, the caption of this picture read, "So u wana act grown... well now u look grown too." He also wrote more things like "The grown-up kids special. Bring more bad kids to @a1_kutz for this kut." After this young boy received his haircut, he immediately started behaving and even joked about his hair. Another example is where the barber gave his son Rushawn a "grown-up kids special" for having bad grades and afterwards, Russell Frederick noticed his son doing better and trying harder in his academics, saying that his grades dramatically skyrocketed after his haircut.

I feel like this is a great way of punishing your child. It is clearly better than shooting your daughter's laptop or yelling and screaming at your daughter. In addition, it will make the kid try to fix his/her mistakes because it would be terrible to be humiliated with a haircut like the one's Russell Frederick gives. I do think it is somewhat immature on the adults parts, but they have reason to discipline their children in any way they want and it does help them get away from yelling or hitting their children. Also, after the haircut has humiliated the child, the barber's fix the haircut to make it look normal. An example is the child in the picture above, that was him after his punishment and this was his hair after he has learned his lesson:

I like what Russell Frederick and all of the barbers at A1-Kutz are doing because in the end, they do fix their hair so they don't look bad even after they fix their attitude. In conclusion, I feel like this is a good thing for the children and the parents and A1-Kutz have a creative way of disciplining their children.

Twitter

I fell like everyone has the right to express their feelings, and that right should not be taking away from people, to an extent. Many people use Twitter to express their feelings or current events that are happening around them. And just like if you say something offensive/rude to someone in person, that could lead to you getting in serious trouble. Using Twitter, just because it is online and you are behind a screen, doesn't mean you are safe from the people you are saying offensive/rude things to. I am not sure if there is a law for this but honestly I feel like a law is not needed for the online bullying and smack talk of other people through Twitter. It would probably be best if people just reported the bad things that were being said online like on YouTube where people can flag a video and it can be removed based on the amount of flags. It something is said that you take offence to, for example, I hate my school or my teachers suck. Then the person being made fun of or being treated rudely online should report the online harassment and block the person saying it.
I've watched many YouTubers who always have to deal with haters on every type of social media like YouTube itself, Facebook, Twitter and many more. Whatever they post on YouTube they will always have haters. The way some YouTubers react to the haters is simply not caring or just blocking the person. That way you don't have to deal with them anymore. Twitter itself shouldn't need to change, it should be the people using it. Twitter does include a block button, mute button and report button. These can help "block out the haters." I always hate when people tend to send mean tweets online because I just hate people being bullies in general. The only way to stop these people is to actually do something, much like if you say someone getting bullied at school, you would tell the teacher. People who see the online bullying should not just disregard it and take a laugh or be bystanders, we need to act upon bad things we see and report the person/persons doing the online harassment and work together.
